King 1 19:11
Then He said, “Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.

Elijah was zealous for Jehovah and fought against Baal.
When he was hiding from Jezebel, God did not fight back in the way he wanted, but used a small voice to ask him to come out and continue on his current path. We often hope that God will respond to us in the way we expect, but God is the Lord who created the heavens and the earth and controls everything. He does not act according to human will. He hopes that we will follow Him by faith.  He has prepared the most suitable for us.
