Anxiety stems from a lack of confidence in the future. I once ran a fashion retail store. Due to drastic changes in the economic environment, and my boyfriend's business also facing difficulties, we both fell into the world of drugs, lacking the ability to confront our problems, which only worsened our relationship. All these circumstances left me feeling lost about the future. I knew I needed to find a new path, but I was accustomed to the "boss life" at that time; change required courage and opportunity, and many things felt beyond my control. During this low period, a friend invited me to her Christian baptism. God reached out to my lost soul, and I began to explore the Bible.
 
Proverbs 17:22 says, "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." This statement seems simple, yet it is profoundly true. When sorrow occupies the heart, one loses motivation, and everything feels difficult. One day, I randomly opened the Bible and came across Matthew 6, which teaches not to worry about clothes and food, especially the line, "Which of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life?" We are precious children of God and should entrust all our needs to Him. At that moment, it felt as though a heavy stone had been lifted from my heart.
 
I realized that excessive worry does not benefit the future, but who has the power to pull someone out of this valley of despair? Only God. Interestingly, shortly after this scripture deeply moved me, a friend who owns a clothing manufacturing business reached out to me, asking if I wanted to join her company. This invitation was a new door that God opened for me, leading to a new chapter in my career.
This experience convinced me that when we entrust our true needs to God, He may not act as we expect, but He will prepare the most suitable path. His plans, which surpass human understanding, are always revealed through faith.
